About Us

Chris Adey started his professional career in 1993 as a Commis Chef at the 5 Star Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland. He has travelled and worked extensively around the world including at The Harbour Restaurant at the Sydney’s Opera House, in Port Douglas Australia, on a 6 Star cruise ship and finally at the exclusive Idube Game Reserve in South Africa’s Kruger National Park. Chris worked at the game lodge with unusual and diverse ingredients such as crocodile, wort hog and ostrich.

Most recently, Chris has been the Head Chef of The Bay View Inn in Widemouth Bay, North Cornwall. This award wining gastro pub was Freehouse of the Year and Chris won numerous awards for his food including Taste of the West Gold Award. Chris has now established the new and exciting Bistro 46 in Brixham, South Devon where he intends on continuing this winning formula.
